I am often asked how I make my jewelry in Blender. It is a common question, and I am happy to share my process with you. First, you will need to download and install Blender. It is a free program, and you can find it at blender.org.
Once you have Blender installed, open it up and create a new project. You will then need to create a mesh. To do this, click on the “Add” button in the header, and select “Mesh.” You can then create a basic shape by clicking on the “Create” button.
Now, it is time to add some jewelry-making materials. In the “Properties” window on the right-hand side, scroll down until you see the “Materials” tab. Click on it, and then click on the “Add” button. You can then select the type of material you want to add.
For this project, we will be using a metal material. Click on the “Add” button, and then select “Metal.” You will then be prompted to select a metal type. Select “Gold,” and then click on the “Create” button.
Now, it is time to add the material to our mesh. In the “Properties” window, scroll down until you see the “Materials” tab. Click on it, and then select the metal material you just created.
You will then need to select a shape for your metal. Click on the “Add” button, and then select “Shapes.” You can then select a basic shape, such as a square or a circle.
Once you have selected a shape, click on it to select it. You will then see a number of options in the “Properties” window. These options will vary depending on the shape you have selected.
For our project, we want to create a ring. In the “Properties” window, scroll down until you see the “Location” tab. Click on it, and then enter the following values:
