How to Gain Jewelry Love From Others

Jewelry love. That word conjures up images of sparkle and glitz – expensive, rare and exquisite jewelry adorning the fingers of a glamorous woman. If you’ve ever seen the cover of a calendar or a fashion magazine, then you may have caught sight of some jewelry placed in high profile magazines. For many people, it is a status symbol that is also extremely amusing and delightful. But how exactly does one go about getting this coveted jewelry?

jewelry love

Firstly, let us look at the connotation behind the term. According to popular belief, jewelry love is defined as being enamored by the possession of beautiful and unique jewelry. It involves a form of idolatry that centers around jewelry. Some may find it funny that I call it “idolatry,” but let me explain. Idolatry is the act of adorning oneself with something that is beautiful or unique. It may be in the form of food, clothes, makeup, friends, etc.

The object of adoration is not necessarily material items. For example, there are some women who find the act of adorning oneself with gold and silver jewelry to be particularly blissful and enjoyable. These women may love silver necklaces and bracelets. However, I’m not talking about any sort of gold jewelry. I’m talking about the all-time favorite – Tiffany lamps.

I’m sure you remember your grandmother wearing them. Grandma was the ultimate trend setter. Back in those days, every woman who wore a pendant or bracelet was considered to be Trendy. Girls of all backgrounds, races and ages loved to flaunt their jewelry and adorn it. Even today, many people still wear them.

Of course back then it worked both ways. There were the Trendy girls and there were the Not-So Trendy girls. Just because a girl wore a shiny bracelet or pendant, it didn’t make her Trendy. On the contrary, it could quite possibly have been the fact that she just didn’t have the money to buy anything fancy. Back then, jewelry was simply affordable to as many people as it was to the richest of the richest.

Fortunately, times have changed a great deal and we live in a society where everyone can afford to buy beautiful jewelry. The old-fashioned notion of owning the latest piece of jewelry has simply been eradicated. That’s right, you don’t need to be Trendy to love jewelry.

It’s true, you can have jewelry regardless of your social status. Just because you’re a supermodel, doesn’t mean you can’t have nice jewelry to show off to the world. You can purchase diamond earrings from the high end stores in Los Angeles and New York City. You can even have your jewelry made to your specifications in Hollywood. So don’t feel embarrassed if you are an affluent suburban teen who loves to wear cool jewelry.

It really doesn’t matter what class or upbringing you come from, wearing jewelry is always fashionable. In fact, there is no more trend than the one that says you must have some pretty jewelry. When you are young, this is all that matters to you. As you age, things change, but the desire to own, and appreciate jewelry never dies. Whether it’s some cheap costume jewelry you have purchased from a local store, or a custom made piece that’s hand crafted by a jeweler, you will always find yourself looking for ways to add to your jewelry collection.

In fact, some women have multiple jewelry pieces, some even have a drawer full of trinkets. I’m not just talking about fashionistas like Angelina Jolie, who owns several pieces of jewelry ranging from necklaces to earrings. No, I am talking about average people like you and me, who simply enjoy having some fine jewelry on them. After all, who doesn’t love to walk around with a little bling?
