Ashcroft and Oak Jewelry is a small business located in the heart of historic Downtown Frederick, Maryland. The business is a collaboration between husband and wife team, Jeff and Emily Ashcroft, and their friend and master jeweler, Oak.

The Ashcrofts met Oak while they were both living in San Francisco. Jeff was working in advertising and Emily was a jewelry designer. They became fast friends and soon started dating. One day, Jeff took Emily to visit Oak’s studio. He was blown away by the quality of her work and the level of detail she put into her pieces.

After they were married, the Ashcrofts moved back to Jeff’s hometown of Frederick, MD. They decided to start their own business and reached out to Oak. She agreed to come on board and the three of them started making jewelry together.

The Ashcroft and Oak Jewelry collection is inspired by the natural beauty of the Mid-Atlantic region. The pieces are designed to be classic and timeless, with a modern edge.

All of the jewelry is handmade in the studio in Downtown Frederick. The team uses a variety of techniques, including lost-wax casting, hand-forging, and hand-engraving.
